Software-update: eXeem 0.25 preview

Het bestanduitwisselingsprogramma eXeem is voorzien van een update naar versie 0.25 die op dit moment alleen via het eXeem forum binnen te halen is. Het programma maakt gebruik van het BitTorrent-netwerk en heeft geen centrale servers, zogenaamde trackers, nodig. Je kan hiermee op een eenvoudige en makkelijke manier bestanden beschikbaar stellen voor het netwerk. Op het forum Gathering of Tweakers loopt er momenteel een topic waarin eXeem besproken word. De release notes zien er als volgt uit:

eXeem version 0.25 has been released to the forum. This is a preview version of a beta that will soon be released to general publish. We decided to release it on the forums first, since if something went terribly wrong, we could fix it easily. You are now invited to join our forum and download the eXeem version 0.25 from there. In order to download it, you have to be registered to the forum Registrations are necessary, because we would like some feedback from the users. Here are the main new features and changes:

• Possibility to publish external torrents to the network (tutorial on this can be found on our forum in a topic: How To: Publish A Regular Torrent, to the network.)
• Possibility to remove GUI to save CPU
• UDP and TCP support
• Make eXeem your primary torrent download client
• and many other things
