Software-update: Speedfan 4.19

Alfredo Milani Comparetti heeft een nieuwe versie van SpeedFan uitgebracht. Het gaat om versie 4.19 en deze kan vanaf deze pagina worden neergehaald. Dit kleine programma kan informatie weergeven van het systeem, zoals voltages, temperatuur, de snelheid van de fans en de SMART-informatie van de harddrive(s). Ook is het mogelijk, mits het gebruikte moederbord dit ondersteunt, om de snelheid van je fans aan te passen. Het changelog van deze release ziet er als volgt uit:

• added ULi M1689 SMBus support
• properly identified a different version of SMSC LPC47M172
• improved IT8702F detection over the SMBus
• trying to fully enable MANUAL PWM mode on SMSC EMC6D103
• IT8712F support now may need you to enter CONFIG / ADVANCED to set the appropriate PWM MODE (please, read the help file)
• fixed identification of S.M.A.R.T. and AAM for hard disks
• added a new section in the help file to explain how to set Advanced Options for IT8712F and other chips (please read it if you no longer can change fan speeds)
• added a new tip if an IT8712F is found
