Software-update: GameGain 2 8.30.2004

Pgware heeft GameGain 2 bijgewerkt naar versie 8.30.2004. Dit programma is bedoeld om je pc te optimaliseren voor het spelen van spelletjes. Volgens de makers maakt het aanpassingen aan zowel het register als systeembestanden om zodoende het geheugen, de schermopbouw, refreshrates en cpu-threading sneller te maken. Alles wordt automatisch gedaan, is afhankelijk van de hard- en softwareconfiguratie en is compleet fouttolerant. Het changelog van de laatste paar releases ziet er als volgt uit:

Changes in 8.23.2004:

• Fixed problem where software on certain Windows 95, 98 and Me computers be recognized as corrupted and not run at all.

Changes in 8.16.2004:

• Added secure digital certificate to installation program to confirm to users the download is safe and has not been modified during download. Also fixed typo within help file.

Changes in 8.9.2004:

• Used new setup installer as well as compressed exe to be smaller; resulting in more compact distribution for software.

Changes in 8.2.2004:

• Fixed problem with registry setting which was misspelled thus causing that tweak to have no effect on the system.

Changes in 7.26.2004:

• Added more tweaks for video memory for Windows XP, 2000 and 2003 users.
