Memtest86+ heeft een update gekregen naar versie 1.20. Dit programma vindt zijn oorsprong bij Memtest86 en is in staat het werkgeheugen te controleren op fouten. De software wordt direct na het booten van de pc gestart en heeft daardoor geen besturingssysteem zoals Linux of Windows nodig. Versie 1.20 is beschikbaar als iso-image en als binary. Daarnaast is er ook nog een variant voor DOS te downloaden. Het changelog van deze release ziet er als volgt uit:
