Op de site van Yahoo is een nieuwe release van zijn eigen Messenger te vinden. Nieuw in versie 6.0.0.1643 is onder andere de mogelijkheid om je eigen avatar te bouwen en te luisteren naar streaming muziek via LAUNCHcast Radio. Het volledige changelog laat de volgende veranderingen zien:
