MoviX² is een kleine Linux distributie op een bootable CD. Hiermee kun je verschillende CD-formaten afspelen, onder andere DVD, VCD, DivX, AVI, MPEG en MP3. Dit alles wordt bediend vanuit X-Windows en gmplayer. Van dit programma is versie 0.2.1 de nieuwste release:

This 0.2.1 is (hopefully) a bug-fixing release for 0.2, so finally GeForce users may really manage to use MoviX2 on their box.
In particular, new boot parameters have been added to make as easy as possible to set monitor parameters in case of problems with X.
If you want to try TV-out, that is probably working only for Ati cards (if any...), I suggest you to try the "vesa" label.
I tried it with my Radeon and it works but it would be interesting to know how it works on other environments.
